Isolsport membrane is an impervious loose lay sheet designed to be laid over damp subfloors or existing floors prior to the installation of our Taraflex® Sports range. The membrane has nodules on the underside to create an airspace allowing ventilation of water vapour from a damp subfloor into a dry wall, thereby allowing the Taraflex® floorcoverings to be bonded quickly and easily. The Isolsport membrane is ideally suited for fast track projects where time required for traditional subfloor preparation is not available and for renovation projects where removal of the existing floor is not possible.

DELIVERING SOLUTIONS – the Isolsport system allows clients to consider renovations that would normally be out of reach, either due to budget or time constraints. The most cost-effective solution for renovation projects is to install the Isolsport system directly over the existing floor. As it is a loose lay system the quality of the finished installation will depend on the preparation of the subfloor. We therefore advise a joint approach between the product manufacturer and fitter to check that all site conditions and technicalities are fully met before the best possible solution is put forward.
