The Neyland Community Hub project is on the site of Neyland Athletic Club and includes a new home for the town council and the local library. The scheme was launched in 2014 in response to the loss of county council facilities such as the town’s swimming pool, youth club and day centre.
A spokesman for the CIC said the hub – now due to cost £2.76m – represented the biggest-ever investment in community facilities in Neyland.
Therefore, ensuring that a superior quality flooring was specified for the new facility would be paramount. The ideal choice of sports flooring for the Neyland Community Hub would be provided by international flooring specialist Gerflor who would supply some 725m2 of their world class Taraflex® Performance sports floor in ‘Teal’ for the main hall which sees a number of sports activities including indoor cricket.
